The World

The World

The World (a.k.a The Universe) is a positive card, and in a nutshell, it emphasises that as one door closes another opens. This card has a strong sense of transition within it; life is in motion. This card follows Judgement, and we can now see that endings really do bring new opportunities. After the period we spent in the underworld it can be a relief to arrive at the door to the universe because it reminds us of the promise of a new life ahead. The World indicates a lesson well learned. Rather oddly, The World is connected to the planet Saturn and whilst Saturn can be considered a hard task master he does reward those who put in hard work. The World can also be about developing a better awareness of time, although not from clocks and watches.

Judgement

Judgement

I don't mind the energy of Judgement too much and whilst it usually accompanies some pretty intense emotions, there is the possibility of freeing yourself from an oppressive situation that has been holding you back for too long. Judgement has a connection to the planet Pluto which is renowned for digging deep and forcing radical transformation. This is not a process that happens overnight, and a Judgement situation is no different. Often it will have been known for a while that things can't remain the way they are, but as humans, we're reluctant to allow change. This card is the sign that enough is enough, and you can either take control

The Sun

The Sun

There is a hidden simplicity in the Sun and an enormous amount of creativity. When this card appears it is telling you that joy is to be found in life through the free stuff like playing and having fun. All artistic pursuits are being given the go ahead, and you should find everyone around you to be either helpful or just plain happy. There is laughter and a little bit of excitement, yet the strongest gift of this card is to be able to live life to full. Every moment can be filled with a sense of awe and an appreciation for life itself. The Sun shines its light for everyone and does not discriminate, and that is how you should be yourself right now. Life is in a growing phase, and things are moving forward.

The Moon

The Moon

This is one of those cards that is better understood after the event. Occasionally, there will be a situation that is blatantly obvious that you can attach to The Moon, but more often than not, it manifests as a feeling of not quite being able to put your finger on something. I have known The Moon to appear for varied reasons, but it is one that comes up frequently if you are going through a soulful time but not necessarily of your own free will.  When The Moon is in operation, we tend to find we are forced inwards and deeper into the mysteries of life itself. Feminine energies run high with this card, and if we deny the presence, we may feel out of our depth or even a little crazy

The Star

The Star

The bottom line of The Star is that all hope is not lost. It frequently turns up in a reading when life is looking grim or when someone is not very positive about a certain situation. This card is the spark that twinkles and shines through the darkness; it's the proverbial ray of hope. With The Star, the answer is yes but the conditions surrounding you at the time the card appears may have you feeling you've got no chance. If there is a question about illness, The Star card indicates that there will be recovery and that positive thinking will be beneficial. If we think about it for a moment, the stars in the sky are Suns. If we apply this to the card itself, we can see that we could be feeling that happiness is too far away for us to get any warmth or that we have no chance of ever achieving it.
